Knights’ Jalonta Martin Is CCC Newcomer of the Year

 

Warner Pacific College’s Jalonta Martin was selected as the Cascade Collegiate Conference’s Newcomer of the Year.  Martin, a 6-foot-6 point guard from, arrived at Warner Pacific after two years at For Scott (Kan.) Community College.  He is a graduate of Portland Interscholastic League 5A member Jefferson High School.

Concordia’s Ochs Standing Tall As CCC Freshman of the Year

 

An overwhelming consensus of the CCC coaches have selected Concordia University’s Matt Ochs ran by Southern Oregon’s Jason Nuunemaker in this year’s Freshman of the Year voting.

Tech’s Miles Named Coach of the Year

 

In just his 36th year at the helm of the champion Oregon Tech Hustlin’ Owls, Dan Miles has been named Cascade Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year by the conference’s head coaches.  Miles is the winningest coach in Oregon collegiate history with 815 victories.
